Because once the title is purchased on Steam, you do not have automatic access to all game modes, some being paid. Matches against the AI

Perhaps the best way to familiarize yourself with the mechanics of the game, the mode Solo Game lets you play against the AI ​​for practice. You can play your own decks but also prebuilt decks.

The AI ​​has your decks, but also a large number of decks created especially for the occasion and which will show you the basics of Artifact. Do not hesitate to chain a few games against her if you feel disoriented in front of the game.

Casual Mode

Once you have mastered the basics of the game, you will want to measure yourself against real opponents. The Casual mode is then there to offer you a free and replayable experience at will. You have access to three options in Casual mode:

→ Matchmaking Mondial : Play a game against a random opponent of your level. You can change decks each game.

→ Built Mode : Choose one of your decks and launch into a Gauntlet. You play games until you win 5 or lose 2 times.



→ Draft Ghost : You take turns choosing cards from 5 boosters. With these cards and your collection, you then create a temporary deck and launch into a Gauntlet. You play games until you win 5 or lose 2 times.


There are unfortunately no rewards when playing in Casual Mode, these are exclusive to Expert Mode, which will cost you Event Tickets to participate. Ranked games are also reserved for Expert mode.

Recycle your cards

Once Artifact is purchased, you get 10 Call to Arms boosters. You will then surely have a multitude of extra cards, these cards that you have in a number greater than the maximum number authorized in a deck. You can then choose to sell them on the Steam Market, but also to recycle these cards in event tickets.

To do this, go to the tab Collection, then choose Recycle Cards. The game will then automatically offer you the list of extra cards you have. You will get 1 event ticket for every 20 cards recycled. Your progress is saved each time you recycle, so you can recycle multiple times to get tickets without having to start from scratch.
