Greenhouses and growing ingredients

As you probably already know, Wizards Unite allows wizards to concoct different magic potions, which allow you to improve your gaming experience by increasing the effectiveness of your incantations or by earning more EXP points. These potions, elixirs and philtres can be bought from the shop, called Diagon Alley, for the lazy, but the bravest will undoubtedly opt for their elaboration from various ingredients. Each potion, elixir or philter requires its own ingredients and requires more or less long preparation time, on which it is possible to scrounge up precious minutes thanks to the Master Notes. Four ingredients, in different quantities, are generally needed to create these beverages, ingredients that can be found in the world or through the Greenhouses in which some can be cultivated.

Ingredients and Magical Energy

Greenhouses, buildings in their own right, allow wizards to gather and grow ingredients for the preparation of their potions. If you are near one of them, you will only have to press on it to access it. Once inside, three pots will appear in which plants rest, pull one of the three plants up to discover the mystery ingredient, and the potential Magical Energy, hiding there.

Like the Inns and their smoke, a red flag will appear above the Greenhouse to indicate that you have just harvested ingredients there. You will have to wait at least five minutes before you can return.

How to grow ingredients?

Seeds and water are regularly placed on the map, allowing you to grow ingredients, essential for the success of your potions, elixirs and potions, in the pots made available in the Greenhouses. Each pot present can receive and be used for one type of ingredient.

Select ingredients to grow

1. Go to a Greenhouse and tap it to access the location in-game.
2. Once inside, find the tab Cultivate in the bottom of the screen to reach the pot.
3. Press the green button To grow to open the list of ingredients you can grow.
4. Press the copper button To grow to add the resources, a seed and water, to the pot. If you don't have enough resources to grow an ingredient, the Grow button will appear grayed out.

When an ingredient is growing, wizards visiting the Greenhouse can, if they wish, share their Magical Energy with the pot, the plant growing there will give a greater number of ingredients in return.

Greenhouses growing ingredients are surrounded by a green glow, the contents of the pots and the time remaining before the end being available remotely, the players will be able to interact with the latter, letting them know if it is interesting to go there.

Once in the Greenhouse, it will be possible to interact with the ingredient. The Magical Energy meter, located at the top of the screen, indicating what the plant is able to produce. The blue bar inside this same meter indicates the amount of Magical Energy shared by other wizards.

To give Magical Energy, simply press the (+) button to increase the desired amount to share. An overview of the amount of Magical Energy shared and its effects will appear in the Ingredient Production Bar. When everything is ready, the Herbovicius spell will be awaited in order to add the energy.

How to harvest ingredients?

From the moment the time is completely up and the plant has completely grown, the ingredients can be harvested on the map outside the Greenhouse. Cultivated ingredients will appear for all players on the map and can be harvested for a duration of 60 minutes. However, important clarification, it is not necessary to have participated in the cultivation of the plant to be able to benefit from its ingredients.

You will find below the list of the different ingredients necessary for the elaboration of the different potions, as well as their duration of growth and the quantity of water which will have to be provided.

Poisonous jumping mushroom Grows in 24 hours, needs 12 waters.

  •  Baruffio's Brain Elixir (2 x Poisonous Leaping Mushroom)

Cranson officinale Growth in 7 hours, need 7 waters.

• Useful for 
  •  Philtre revigorant (1 x Cranson officinal)
  •  Reinforced Invigorating Potion (1 x Cranson officinalis)

Sopophoric bean Growth in 7 hours, needs 10 waters.

• Useful for 
  •  Potion of Apathy (1 x Sopophoric Bean)

Léwisie Growth in 7 hours, need 15 waters.

• Useful for 
  •  Potion Exstimulo (1 x Léwisie)
  •  Reinforced Exstimulo Potion (3 x Léwisie)
  •  Powerful Exstimulo Potion (4 x Léwisie)

Lovage Growth in 7 hours, needs 9 waters.

• Useful for 
  •  Invigorating filter (2 x Livèche)

Snowdrops Growth in 1 hour, need 15 waters.

• Useful for 
  •  Exstimulo Potion (1 x Snowdrop)
  •  Reinforced Exstimulo Potion (4 x Snowdrops)

Ginger Root Growth in 7 hours, need 12 waters.
