After being the subject of countless rumours, The Last of Us remake on PS5 is finally a reality. Indeed, a few hours before the start of Summer Game Fest 2022, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Naughty Dog have decided to strike a blow by announcing that The Last of Us Part I (the official name) will land on September 2. A PC version is also planned, but at the moment it is not known when it will be available. As expected, we are promised to (re)live the adventures of Joel and Ellie with modernized gameplay, improved controls, and plenty of accessibility options. The combat system and the exploration phases have also been revised, we are told - no doubt that the developers of Naughty Dog have taken up some ideas thought for The Last of Us 2. Finally, of course, the "Left Behind" DLC is included in the offer, and a Firefly Edition is also in the works.
The Last of Us Remake confirmed by the trailer which leaked at PlayStation, then deleted after 5 min.
The game has been renamed to THE LAST OF US PART 1, and is coming to PS5 on September 2 and later to PC.
