In addition to Aliens: Dark Descent, which will be released in 2023 on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, Xenomorph fans will be able to enjoy Aliens, which Survios is currently working on. This is indeed what the American studio announces in an official press release where it is specified that the story of this survival horror will take place between Alien, the eighth passenger and Aliens, the return. The details on the game are rather thin for the moment, but we still know that we will play a veteran broken in combat and eager to carry out a vendetta against the terrible creatures.
In the press release, it is also pointed out that Aliens will be compatible with virtual reality, which will not surprise anyone since this is an area in which Survios is renowned (Raw Data, Creed: Rise to Glory, The Walking Dead Onslaught among others). Finally, developed in collaboration with 20th Century Fox, the game will run on the Unreal Engine 5 and should probably have a mode allowing you to walk around in dark places without any VR headset screwed on your head.
The developers have promised to reveal more about the project (expected on consoles and PC) during the San Diego Comic-Con which will take place from July 21 to 24.
