If the rhythm of Marvel releases on Disney + is now more than established, it is the turn of the Star Wars universe to integrate perfectly into this process of seduction. On the occasion of the Star Wars Celebration 2022 which is currently taking place in Anaheim (suburb of Los Angeles), the Mickey firm revealed to us the trail of Star Wars Andor, the new series to come on Disney + from August 31 next. For those who missed its news, know that it is a prequel to the film Rogue One released in 2016 and which was quite appreciated by Star Wars fans at the time. It will therefore be an opportunity to see Cassian Andor again, still played by Diego Luna and who will tell us how the Resistance was set up against the Galactic Empire. The first images announce a darker series than the others (The Mandalorian, Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi), with a lot of visual ambitions. There are indeed vast sets, but above all varied, with very futuristic interior sets and natural environments. Two episodes will be launched on streaming from August 31st, which will leave us little respite between the end of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Miss Marvel and She-Hulk. Decidedly, it is not idle on the side of Disney.
