Among us best settings for 10, 7 and 5 players!

As Among Us begins to become familiar with the players, many groups begin to experiment with the rules attached to each game. This customization allows you to keep the game a little cooler and not get bored after playing the same cards again. and even. There's a lot to adjust, so choosing the right options for your group can be tricky. We'll explore these settings and choose the best selections for a variety of different player counts.

There won't be much of a difference in settings between each player amount. You mostly just want to adjust the chat time because if you have a small group of players you won't need that much time to chat things. So, reduce the time limit to speed things up a bit.

Setting information

I will go over each of the settings and explain what they do. This can help you better understand what you would like to choose for your particular group of players when playing together.

Recommended settings

These are the general settings recommended by the developers. A lot of players think they aren't very good and recommend you change them right away, however, you might want to play a few games with them just to get some experience under your belt.

Confirm ejections

Confirm Ejects is a more recently added feature, and it makes things a little easier for imposters. When a player is kicked and this is unchecked, it will just say that a person was removed from the game, but it won't tell you if they were an impostor or not. So, as a crew member, you won't know how many Imposters are left or not, which makes things more difficult for you. If you find that your imposters aren't working as well, it may be a setting you uncheck.

# Emergency meetings

This is the number of meetings that can be called without finding a body. Since there will usually be quite a few meetings when bodies are found, you shouldn't need too many. If there are a lot of them, players will repeatedly spam them and slow down the game.

Emergency recharge

This is how long between meetings can be called. It's good to have at least some kind of buffer between meetings, so they don't get constantly activated.

Talk time

This is the time you and everyone else still in the game will have to discuss who you think is the impostor or not. Your setting for this largely depends on whether you want to have long-winded discussions or not. This can be a big part of the fun of this game, but it will make games longer.

Voting time

You can decide how much time you want to give players to decide their votes.

player speed

If you want players to zoom around the map, you can increase the setting, and if you want them to be slow, you can decrease it.

Crew Vision

The distance at which you can see other players is determined by this number. It's usually best to give the impostor an advantage, but if he wins all the time, you can increase this number.

Imposter's Vision

Same as Crewmate Visions but for imposters. If Imposters are having trouble earning, you might want to increase this. It's generally better to give Imposters more vision than Crewmates. It also improves the ability to see when lights are off, so turning them off is more of a viable strategy if this is increased.

Kill Cooldown

The time imposters must wait between kills. You don't want it to be too short, or they may go on a killing spree if no one finds the bodies.

kill distance

How far away does the impostor have to be from a crew member to kill. I usually keep it short, so the impostor needs to get up close and personal.

Visual tasks

Certain tasks will visibly show that a crew member is completing them, allowing you to confirm if they are an impostor. Other tasks simply allow the player to stand there without animation, making it difficult to tell if they are actually doing something. If you uncheck this box, all tasks will have no animation.

# Common, long and short tasks

These simply depend on how many tasks you want the crew members to complete before winning. It's really a personal preference on how hard you want to do things with the crew.
