It's the same every year, when Marvel comes to Hall H at Comic-Con in San Diego to exclusively unveil the new trailers for the public there, there's always a smart guy to discreetly film the trailers. which are sometimes published several months later. This is the case for Ant-Man 3 Quantumania which revealed itself with a first trailer which raises the stakes of Phase 5 of the MCU. Kang will therefore be back in his The Conqueror version to make it clear that he is the new threat of our Avengers. It is obviously in the guise of actor Jonathan Majors that he will come to life, he who had already delivered a more offbeat version of the character in Season 1 of Loki, calling himself "The one who remains". In addition to the presence of Kang, this trailer also allows us to see a certain Bill Murray who will take his first steps in the MCU, and whose character is still very vague. All that is known at the moment is that he will play a villain who seems to live in the Quantum Realm, or so he claimed several months ago.
We will obviously find Paul Rudd in the role of Scott Lang, who finally seems to gain public notoriety, he who has always been in the shadow of the main Avengers. At the start of the trailer, we see him signing autographs for his autobiography “Look Out for The Little Guy” (Pay attention to this little guy), before discovering that his daughter Cassy has been arrested by the Police. For a reason that has not yet been communicated, it is Kathryn Newton, who we have seen in the Supernatural series and the movie Detective Pikachu, who takes over the role, knowing that she will also have her Stature costume. With this trailer, the stakes for the MCU are being set with a Phase 5 that will finally put Kang center stage. Perhaps the opportunity to put some seriousness back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe...
