The information dates from just a few minutes ago and it was first relayed by The Hollywood Reporter who had the first of the announcement: the Armor Wars series with actor Don Cheadle has just made the subject to reconsideration within Marvel Studios. Indeed, contrary to what was announced during Disney's D23 a few weeks ago, it will now be a complete film that will be part of Phase 5 or 6 of the MCU. Marvel was considering a 2023 shoot for the series, and it doesn't look like anything has changed on that side. However, at this stage, no director has yet been appointed. With what happened with Blade and its director who packed up, we imagine that Kevin Feige will be more than careful about the choice of filmmaker for Armor Wars, in order to avoid an unexpected bad buzz. Know otherwise that this is not the first time that Marvel has changed gears along the way, and we remember that Hawkeye had initially conceived as a film in its own right before being transformed into a series on Disney +.
