Assassin's Creed Mirage: a 1st trailer in audio-description and the collectors' editions also unveiled
Made official a few days ago due to insistent leaks, the existence of Assassin's Creed Mirage was obviously at the heart of UbiForward on the night of Saturday to Sunday. Ubisoft naturally gave the first details on the game, starting with the studio behind the development, namely Ubisoft Bordeaux. The young studio behind the DLC Assassin's Creed Valhalla: The Wrath of the Druids therefore has the heavy task of setting up the adventures of Basim Ibn Is'haq in the city of Baghdad. The leaks were therefore right and according to certain indiscretions, this Assassin's Creed Mirage was initially an extension which later turned into a full episode. Ubisoft admits it half-heartedly, but this episode marks the return of the license to a refined gameplay of all the RPG side that had been put in place since Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The game indeed returns to its essential mechanics, namely parkour, stealth and assassinations. On the story side, those who have finished Assassin's Creed Valhalla know what will become of Bassim and why he has a connection with the character of Loki. Here, it will be an opportunity to discover his past and how he became a Templar assassin. The announcement trailer is accompanied by original music composed by Brendan Angelides.
Ubisoft took the opportunity to reveal the collectors editions of the game: the Deluxe Edition and the Collector's box.
The Deluxe Edition will include the game, a digital artbook, the original digital in-game soundtrack, and a digital Deluxe Pack that will contain a Prince of Persia-inspired outfit, player eagle and mount skins , weapons and much more.
The Collector's Box will include the Deluxe Edition as well as a high-quality Basim figurine (32 cm), an exclusive Steelbook whose design will be chosen by the fans, a mini-artbook, a replica of the Basim brooch, a map Baghdad as well as a selection of music from the game. The Collector's box will be available in stores and on the Ubisoft Store.
Fans who pre-order Assassin's Creed Mirage will receive a bonus quest called "The Forty Thieves" at launch, during which they will discover the mysteries of the legendary cave of Ali Baba, the famous illustration that leaked earlier this week.
