The leaks from the beginning of the week before the UbiForward surprise this evening, but Ubisoft stayed the course and formalized the development of an Assassin's Creed in Japan. In addition to the possibility of seeing a kind of video teaser where we see a shinobi assassin appear out of nowhere, with a backdrop of feudal Japan, we learned that it is the Ubisoft Quebec studio that is working on it. The choice is rather relevant, especially when we know that it is they who are at the origin of the very good Assassin's Creed Odyssey released in 2018, but also of the less relevant Assassin's Creed Syndicate. The formula will take up the Action-RPG side developed by AC Odyssey, with an assassin looking like a ninja with the famous soul. For now, the game has no official name and responds with the code name RED. We don't know yet if it will be the next Assassin's Creed after Mirage, because Ubisoft has plans for several years for its license. While waiting for more information, make way for the teaser trailer.
