Atomic Heart: the Soviet BioShock has landed at Focus Entertainment

Announced at gamescom 2022, Atomic Heart is a game that has been talked about a lot. It must be said that the trailer that accompanied it had shocking arguments to generate a hype. Visually impressive, the FPS developed by Mundfish was indeed inspired by a certain BioShock in the gameplay, with this ambidextrous character, able to hold a firearm in the right hand and use its robotic capacities with the left hand. This impressive demo caught the eye of Focus Entertainment, which announces a partnership with the Mundfish studio for the edition of the game Atomic Heart. The release date for Winter 2022 is maintained and the French publisher will take care of publishing the title on PC and consoles, excluding CIS and Asia regions. On the side of Mundfish as Focus, we are pleased to have found common ground.

"When we founded the studio five years ago, we set ourselves the goal of creating a world-class game that could be enjoyed by millions of gamers around the world." says Robert Bagratuni, CEO of Mundfish. "Today, when the stakes are higher than ever, we are finally ready to unveil everything we have prepared over all these years. We couldn't be happier to prepare for the release with such an experienced editor, and we have no doubt that Focus Entertainment has a very exceptional release for the game."

"We are honored to have the chance to collaborate with such a talented studio as Mundfish." adds Julien Ramette, Chief Business Development Officer at Focus Entertainment. "From the first discussions, we were amazed by the creative genius of Robert and his teams, who achieved a tour de force by creating, for their first game, a AAA video game and technological showcase. Atomic Heart is undoubtedly a game that will honor to all those who longed to have a new next-gen experience."

Impossible to deny it, Atomic Heart is visually incredible, so much so that Nvidia also used the game's trailer to promote its Ray-Tracing and support the developers it collaborates with. We just have to wait for a new trailer, and until then, we can surf the official site to try to glean other crisp information.
