Contrary to appearances, DICE and Electronic Arts have no intention of dropping Battlefield 2042, despite the desertion of its players from the servers. Proof of this is with the arrival today of a time-limited event, allowing players to play with the Liquidators. From October 11 to 25, it is possible to play as one of the members of this special unit who not only like to dress in white, but also have new weapons. The event starts today, Tuesday October 11 and will end on October 25, offering different game modes. Here are the details:
Tactical conquest
This variant of Conquest mode will feature frantic, close-quarters infantry combat, and will alternate between 8 vs. 8 players in week one and 16 vs. 16 players in week two.
Smaller play spaces
Players will find Liquidator-specific modified areas on Port of Arica, Rupture, Caspian Border, Landfill, Renewal, and Grounding.
New missions and rewards
Players earning Ribbons in Tactical Conquest will unlock unique rewards during the event.
10 Ribbons: "The Shield" Epic Card Background
30 Ribbons: Epic Weapon Skin "Kinetic Caliber" (AM40)
60 Ribbons: Epic Specialist Set "Demolition Team" (Dozer)
100 Ribbons: Legendary Vehicle Skin "Trojan Horse" (M1A5)
