We will be able to test that very soon since Bayonetta 3 is expected on the shelves on October 28th.
Since Bayonetta 3's release date has been secured for Halloween, Nintendo and PlatinumGames can now unpack their bags for us. The two Japanese companies took advantage of today's Nintendo Direct to unveil a gameplay video of nearly 8 minutes, with French commentary in support to better understand the combos and new features of this third opus. It is also specified that making the craziest sequences is not the preserve of combo experts, because the game has been simplified so that novices are not left out. That said, you will have to master the dodges and observe what is happening around to keep the right tempo. When the enemies get too big, Bayonetta will be able to summon creatures of the same size to make the clashes fair. We also see the moment when our heroine in latex can metamorphose into a butterfly demon and access superior attacks. The second part of the video is devoted to Viola, the apprentice witch, who approaches combat in a different way. With her Devil May Cry sword and style, even in her look, Viola can also summon Chouchou, a cute yet creepy plush demon that can deliver powerful claw swipes.
