One of the hardest choices when developing a MyPlayer is deciding which dribble moves go with it. In 2K22, some dribbling moves have both ball handling and height requirements. The best dribbling moves are quick, hard to steal, destabilize the opponent's defense and put the player in a better position. Here are all the best dribbling moves with alternatives if the requirements aren't met.

Mobile crossover
- Jayson Tatum — Ball Grip: 75
- LeBron James — Ballhandle: 70
Tatum's crossover covers a lot of space and is very difficult to fly if timed correctly. There is a little delay, but the ball is still close to the ground. If you're just under 75 Ball Handle, LeBron's crossover is a good choice for the same reasons.
Move in the back

- Kawhi Leonard — Ball Handle: 80
- Pro — Ball Grip: 75
Kawhi Leonard's dribbling is extremely effective in keeping momentum forward. His behind the back doesn't change direction much, but puts the ball in a perfect spot to keep driving. The Pro dribble is a good alternative but exposes the ball a little more.
Moving steps back
- Jayson Tatum — Ball Grip: 75
- Chris Paul — Ball Grip: 75, Height: Under 6'10"
- Basic – No requirement
The reverse dribble motion depends on what you want to use it for. Tatum's back step covers the most space, especially the sidestep animation, but Paul's is extremely fast and can be chained well with other moves. If you don't qualify with either, the basic dribble move is more effective than the default normal move.
Towers in motion
- Nikola Jokic — Ball grip: 75
- Kevin Durant – Ball Grip: 75
- Joel Embiid — Ball Handle: 70
Jokic's spinning move is very safe and is executed quite quickly. Kevin Durant's spin move is a Season 2 outing and covers a ton of ground. Embiid's dribble move is a great alternative because it's very quick and hard to read.
Moving hesitations
- Luka Doncic — Ball handle: 75
- Larry Bird — Ball Handle: 70
Luka's hesitation dribbles are well timed and explode out of hesitation. Larry Bird's is a good alternative, as although quite slow, it covers a lot of ground and is very difficult to fly.
Iconic waist-ups

Signature Suits
- Derrick Rose — Ball Grip: 80, Height: Under 6'10"
- Russell Westbrook—Ball Grip: 70
Rose and Westbrook are Season 2 releases and are very effective combos. Rose does not move much, but can be used to take off quickly. Westbrooks is more methodical and slow, but movements can be timed for great takeoffs and shot creation.
Plus Size Escape Packages
- Trae Young — Ball Grip: 80, Height: Under 6'10"
- Luka Doncic — Ball handle: 70
Trae's escape is extremely fast and covers a lot of space, which is perfect for escape packages. Luka's requires less ball handling skills, but has a very fast and low to the ground dribbling.
