The Lava Eel is by far the best fish to have in a pond in Stardew Valley. This unique creature provides a lot of potential gold for anyone managing a pond on their farm. These eels are relatively low maintenance and can fetch as much as 1500 gold per day.
Blobfish
The Blobfish may not be a very attractive fish, which may put off some players when selecting fish. What the Blobfish lacks in appearance, however, it makes up for by increasing player wealth. The fish can bring up to 1400 gold per day.
