Terraria is such an amazing title. Over the years, the updates and free content of this game have been really impressive. Now, however, the final update is complete, no content is currently being developed for Terarria, or so they say!
Best Terrarium Wings
Wings are one of the best additions to Terraria because not only do they give you flight for a limited time, which is incredibly handy if you're playing on a large world, but you can fly in the sky, search for sky islands or the like. As you progress through the game, you can also craft or loot different wings, which of course have better stats. This means you can ZOOM into the world faster and higher than ever!
However, just be sure to wear an accessory to prevent any fall damage, like a lucky horseshoe, if you're the type to forget about gliding, or you might get splashed.
Now this list will be the best wings in Terraria with progression in mind!
Pre-Hardmode
There are only a few wings you can get in Pre-Hardmode; however, getting a pair of wings greatly increases your mobility! If you don't like starting in Travel Mode, you're left with only one option.
fledgling wings
Fledgling Wings are exclusive to Journey Mode, the new mode that comes with the final 1.4 update. Normally there are only a few pairs of wings you can get in pre-hard mode, but if you start on this mode you get the fledgling wings which are given to you for free! You can collect them from sky islands. However, you would probably already have better wings.

leaf wings
Leaf wings are the best pre-hardmode wings you can get! You can't get them very quickly, but you can get them relatively quickly if you know what you're doing.
First, you must defeat the optional boss, the Queen Bee; after that, the NPC, the wizard, will appear if you have a vacant house. However, the house must be in the jungle for the leaf wings to appear in his shop, and it must also be at night. Wings cost a Platinum, which is a hell of a lot of money in Pre-Hardmode, but damn it, it's worth it!

hard mode
This is Terraria fully opens, and the game begins to battle! Wings become essential when fighting a few bosses, just as fighting on the ground is not advised!
frozen wings
Frozen Wings aren't much of an upgrade to Leaf Wings, but they are the fastest wings to get in Hardmode. To craft these wings, you need an Ice Feather and 20 Flight Souls. Ice Feather has a 33,3% chance to drop after killing an Ice Golem in a snow biome, and you get Soul of Flight; you must kill the Wyverns.

scary wings
However, Spooky Wings are hard to get if you spend the time doing so by killing Mourning Wood from the Pumpkin Moon event. To craft them, you need a Spooky Twig and 20 Soul of Flight. The Spooky Twig drops from Mourning Wood, with a 1,67 drop rate at 20%, and of course Soul of Flight you get from Wyverns.
You can opt for Spectrum Wings, but you would lose one level of rarity.

Fishron's Wings
The FishronWings are amazing, and you can, if you're skilled enough, get them the second you enter Hardmode, letting you skip all the Wings until you're pretty much at the end of Hardmode.
However, you need to kill an optional boss to do so, Duke Fishron, and this guy is tough! To summon the boss, you must fish using a truffle worm as bait in either ocean. The Truffle Worm is also incredibly difficult to acquire, but the grind and wait to beat this boss is totally worth it!

End of Game
Ah, endgame, you've more or less completed the game, but you have to reward yourself with the loot from the endgame boss!
Nebula Mantle | Hovering wings
In the late game, you have a few sets to choose from, four in fact, and what you want to create really comes down to personal preference. Four pillars need to be destroyed before you can fight the final boss, and you can use materials from any of the four pillars, as well as materials from the final boss, to create these wings.
To craft Nebula Mantle, you need 10 Luminite Bars and 14 Nebula Fragments. The Luminite Bars you get from the final boss and the Nebula Fragments from the Nebula Pillar.
Nebula Mantle is a set of hovering wings, where by hovering, instead of flying, you get a massive speed boost, around 300%!

Solar Wings | speed wings
Much like the Nebula Mantle, these are crafted the same way. If you want flight height instead of speed, you can craft the Stardust Wings!
You need the materials for one of the four pillars, the sun pillar, and the glow bars from the final boss. To craft them, you need 10 Luminite Bars and 14 Solar Shards.
Solar wings are the fastest wings in the game. If you want to talk about leveling then these are the wings to do it!
