At 2:47, Black Panther Wakanda Forever is a long, dense film that takes time to develop its characters, even if the last half hour tends to speed things up precipitously. Actress Laeticia Wright also has the heavy task of taking up the torch, but will not succeed, despite all the good will and the desire to do things right, the role being too heavy to bear. Fortunately, Kevin Feige, Ryan Coogler and Marvel have found some subterfuge to support him on screen, such as the presence of Riri Williams who becomes Ironheart in the film. Her lack of treatment doesn't add much to the narrative, aside from introducing a new superhero to the MCU, but has allowed Laeticia Wright to lean on a teammate. What did the press think of it? Here is a sabaillon of tweets while we wait for our full review.

It's obviously better than Black Adam, but it wasn't very difficult… #blackpantherwakandaforever #wakandaforever #pourtoi #mcu #marvel #blackpanther

So I'm leaving the press projo of #BlackPantherWakandaForever. The film is dense, rich and introduces a lot of new elements.
I can't say much (NDA), just that Namor is wickedly reverent! 🤩
The film lasts 2h47 and there is only one post-credits scene. pic.twitter.com/ytZns91hoP
1/3 Nice surprise that #BlackPantherWakandaForever is much better than the first film. Namor has a face, the mourning of T'Challa is treated with emotion, his absence is omnipresent, the cast has heart… but it's still long (2h40)… pic.twitter.com/GXLIVMsYIj

– Antoine Desrues (@Ant_Desrues) October 27, 20222h47, avalanche of characters and events but even if the film does not give a damn about the world like many recent Marvel films, BLACK PANTHER WAKANDA FOREVER says nothing. The first had its geopolitical questions, this sequel is just a banal "revenge not well". pic.twitter.com/ctUdpODuBU

Too much to do, too many boxes to check, too many elements of series, films to introduce, emotions to provoke, #BlackPantherWakandaForever still has heart with its 100% heroine cast. But on the other hand it really lasts Forever. pic.twitter.com/4w7jwZXwe0
— Daniel Andreyev (@kamuirobotics) October 27, 2022EXPRESS REVIEW: We hadn't thrilled so much in front of a Marvel Studios film since the Infinity War / Endgame diptych. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is undoubtedly the best project of the MCU's Phase IV! #WakandaForever pic.twitter.com/3QVmPkSEBD
