Black Panther 2 Wakanda Forever: the press has seen the film, here are the first returns (including ours)

Although it is only expected on November 9, Black Panther Wakanda Forever has already revealed all its secrets to a few privileged spectators. In the United States with the world premiere in Los Angeles with the presence of the whole cast, but also in certain countries such as Spain via press screenings. Black Panther Wakanda Forever is an expected film in more ways than one, since not only is it the last film of Phase 4 of the MCU, but also because it had to manage the death of its main actor Chadwick Boseman, died of cancer in the summer of 2020. The production had to make script readjustments to try to get back on its feet, while introducing many elements to the narrative and to the MCU. The character of Namor and his Talocan people was one of the major challenges of this sequel to Black Panther, with a geopolitical scenario that takes the time to raise its stakes.



At 2:47, Black Panther Wakanda Forever is a long, dense film that takes time to develop its characters, even if the last half hour tends to speed things up precipitously. Actress Laeticia Wright also has the heavy task of taking up the torch, but will not succeed, despite all the good will and the desire to do things right, the role being too heavy to bear. Fortunately, Kevin Feige, Ryan Coogler and Marvel have found some subterfuge to support him on screen, such as the presence of Riri Williams who becomes Ironheart in the film. Her lack of treatment doesn't add much to the narrative, aside from introducing a new superhero to the MCU, but has allowed Laeticia Wright to lean on a teammate. What did the press think of it?
