Although it took about 18 months for Netflix to confirm the existence of Castlevania Season 3 after the air date of Season 2, the streaming giant wasted little time in confirming Season 4 of the anime series. The news comes from a March 27 tweet on Netflix's official Twitter account (via Destructoid).
Castlevania Season 3 premiered on March 5, just 25 days ago, and was only confirmed on February 4.

Currently, it's unclear how far along the development process for season 4 is, and Netflix hasn't shared a release date or release window for the next installment of the series. Considering the long gap between season 2 and season 3, it's likely that the series won't return until at least winter 2020, if not early 2021.
Season 3 left a lot of unanswered questions in the Castlevania universe, with many threads left open for Season 4. There's still a lot to learn about Trevor and Sypha, Isaac, Hector, and Alucard.
Like the video game series it's based on, it's likely that at some point Dracula himself will return to Netflix's world of Castlevania. Some elements of Season 3 seem to suggest that might be the case in Season 4.
However, we'll have to wait for Netflix to release more information to be sure of anything. Stay tuned to GameSkinny for more on Castlevania.
