Bungie isn't done with Destiny 2, even though the studio is preparing a big new expansion, revealed at gamescom 2022 during a special online event, where we also learned that the game is coming on the Epic Games Store, and that a collaboration is planned with Fornite and Fall Guys. But first things first: Destiny 2 Eclipse (or Lightfall in VO) will be released on February 28, 2023, which gives us time to see this big extension arrive and to have continuous information until its release. Bungie says it will be the penultimate chapter of the "Light and Darkness" saga. Scenariowise, a new threat arrives, it is Calus, the former evil emperor of the Cabal, who is making his big comeback in our solar system, and he is not happy. Accompanied by his fleet of Pyramids as Disciple of the Witness, and the cosmic Nemesis who appeared in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, he wants to make evil reign and satisfy the Guardians. Except that the latter have been trained thanks to a new doctrine via new skills and that they are ready to defend their existence.
