The Disney & Marvel Games Showcase was the opportunity to have some news about Disney Speedstorm, a Mario Kart-like game with Disney characters, revealed during a Nintendo Direct last February. This time, it's the Monsters & Co. license that makes its official entry into the game, which means that Bob Razowski and Jacques Sullivan join the roster, already made up of Mickey, Jack Sparrow and Mulan. Of course, they won't be the only ones from the Monster Academy to be playable and the gameplay at the end of the video reveals the presence of Randall and Celia. Other characters from the universe have already been confirmed and we already know that the Beast, Mowgli and Baloo will be present, not to mention the circuits inspired by each of these licenses. On the gameplay side, Disney Speedstorm will offer a whole lot of customization, with elements to add or reinforce to gain in statistics. Of course, like Mario Kart, there will be driving tips to go faster, such as managing skids, using boosts at the right time and playing with circuit elements, such as shortcuts or alternative paths. For the moment, Disney Speedstorm does not have a release date, but it is planned for PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
