While some rumors indicate that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is currently in development for a 2024 release, Dimps continues to feed the content of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. This is indeed announced by Bandai Namco Entertainment via an official press release where we learn that Gamma 1 and Gohan, both present in the recent film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, will soon join the cast of the game. Which is not surprising since last month, Gamma 2 had already been confirmed.
The three characters will be contained in a first DLC – which itself will make up the Hero of Justice Pack Set – which will land this fall. For the moment, it is not known which characters will be included in the second DLC, nor from when they will be available. For the record, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was released in 2016 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, before arriving the following year on Nintendo Switch. And just to drive the point home, a free-to-play version was deployed on Xbox One and PS4 in 2019.
