eFootball 2022: the eFootball League becomes the eFootball Championship, all the info on this year's tournament

    Now that eFootball 1.0.0 Update 2022 has been rolled out, Konami announces the eFootball Championship 2022 in an official statement. Until now known as eFootball League, this new esports competition will open in next June and is aimed at both beginners and professional players. "Two tournaments will take place: the eFootball Championship Pro 2022, a professional league which will see eSport players who have signed a contract with a European professional football club compete against each other, and the eFootball Championship Open 2022, which will be open to all players. Professional players in eFootball Championship Pro and amateur players in eFootball Championship Open will compete through the new "Dream Team" mode."


    eFootball Championship Pro 2022 – kicks off in June




    The eFootball Championship Pro 2022 is a professional league that brings together eSport players who have signed a contract with a European football club. Professional players will be selected from among the best players in the world and compete in 1v1 format matches across eFootball 2022's new mode "Dream Team" to win the league. Each match will be streamed online worldwide.

     

    Qualification for the eFootball™ Championship Open 2022 – kick off in June


    The eFootball Championship Open 2022 is the largest official eSports tournament taking place on eFootball 2022. It will be open to users worldwide. In previous seasons, more than 8 million users around the world have taken part in the eFootball.Open. Through the "Dream Team" mode, the players with the highest scores at each stage of the tournament will be able to climb the ranks to the World Finals, which will crown the player #1. The World Finals will be streamed online worldwide.
