eFootball 2023: kick off for the new season and updated teams

Like this, without warning in advance, Konami announces the online release of eFootball 2023, which is none other than the update of eFootball 2022. With its new free-to-play business model, there is no longer any need to buy new episode every year, everything is done continuously like a good self-respecting game-service. People who owned the 2022 version will therefore naturally switch to the 2023 edition, while newcomers can now download the game on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One. Konami has a lot to be forgiven for since the chaotic launch last year and the Japanese publisher intends to satisfy as many people as possible. For this second year in its new form, the one we called PES not so long ago is back with up-to-date data, starting with new partnerships. It is indeed the return of two former partner clubs, namely AC Milan and FC Internazionale Milano, which means that the teams are complete, their official jerseys present and the San Siro (this iconic stadium that the two clubs share) is also part of the game.

 

We also learn that the Liga BBVA MX will also be in the code lines of eFootball 2023 and will include the 18 Mexican clubs, a reproduction of each player as well as the addition of the historic Estadio Azteca. Still in this perspective of collaboration, we also know that the English international right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold and the Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes join the Ambassadors alongside Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr. and Takefusa Kubo. Moreover, the list of clubs in the "Trial Match" mode is a little richer with today no less than 26 clubs including AS Roma, SSC Napoli, Club America and Santos FC, in plus the AC Milan and FC Internazionale Milano announced above.



For those who play eFootball to create their dream team like in FIFA FUT, be aware that new card types have been added to "Dream Team". In the 'Epic' mode, the cards will focus on players throughout football history, celebrating seasons that have marked their careers. Conversely, in the "Featured" mode, they will focus on the current season, selecting essential players from the 2022/23 seasons.
