Final Fantasy XVI: the game announced exclusively on PS5, a 1st trailer in 4K with gameplay in it

As suggested by a number of rumors, Square Enix took advantage of the conference dedicated to the PS5 to formalize the development of Final Fantasy XVI on Sony Interactive Entertainment's next-gen console. Interesting thing: the trailer presented this evening allowed to see the gameplay, knowing that the whole sequence was carried out on PC. Moreover, contrary to what was announced at first, the game will not be released on PC and will be temporarily exclusive to the PS5. Owners of other machines will therefore have to take their troubles patiently before enjoying Final Fantasy XVI.

“We will have a lot more information to share in 2021, says producer Naoki Yoshida. In the meantime, we leave it up to you to imagine what awaits you, because you are not at the end of your surprises, not only for Final Fantasy XVI, but also for Final Fantasy XIV!" For the release date, we will obviously have to be patient.
