There will be a sequel to the good surprise that was Firewall Zero Hour released in 2018 on PlayStation VR and it will be called Firewall Ultra. It was Sony Interactive Entertainment who passed on the good news through a post on the PlayStation Blog, where you can see the first trailer but also the first details about the game. Obviously, with the arrival of PlayStation VR2 at the start 2023, it is on this virtual reality headset that the game was fully developed. It is still the First Contact Entertainment studio which is in charge and the latter will rely on its work carried out with the first episode to try to go even further in the field of FPS in VR. Firewall Ultra will make full use of the capabilities of PS VR2, including its new controllers that will allow more interaction in the setting. The game will also use PS VR Sense, which is the technology that tracks player eye movement. We are also promised the possibility of changing weapons intuitively, displaying HUD indicators using the cameras integrated into the PS VR2 headset. On the story side, Firewall Ultra takes place 5 years after the original adventure, which means that the game has changed quite a bit, both visually and in terms of gameplay.
