Well, it's been a few months since we last heard from Forspoken, and a few days before the start of Paris Games Week, Square Enix invites us to focus on one of the new mechanics of its game: the Magical parkour. We recall that Frey, by being catapulted into the world of Athia, will be given powers, such as the possibility of moving with speed and style, as long as we find Parkour still powerful in 2022. To activate this magic skill, the player must hold down the "Circle" button, which will allow him to jump over small obstacles automatically such as rocks, ledges or even low walls. Be careful all the same, magic Parkour has its limits and especially its endurance gauge that you will have to learn to manage. We can also combine the skills of Frey, between the flow of movement and the load for example, which will keep the pace and maintain your speed while recovering stamina.
In her movement speed, Frey can make dizzying leaps forward with momentum and to do this, just press X at the right time, and if we press X again when she hits the ground, she is possible to keep this speed, but also the endurance. Of course, thanks to her flow skills, Frey can hope to climb high surfaces, but also reach places at first sight inaccessible thanks to the flight, knowing that our young woman also has a grappling hook that allows you to launch a magical bond that attracts him to everything he touches. You can use it to reach higher ledges, but also to keep moving forward, much like Spider-Man's web that allows him to swing from building to building. Convenient.
Forspoken is expected to release on January 24, 2023, on both PC and PS5.
