The day after the announcement of the end of the follow-up for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the Kotaku site arrives with a scoop that it holds from well-informed sources: Ubisoft would have already started the development of a new episode of Ghost Recon. A rumor which, if true, is not really a surprise since the license is one of the big pieces of the Ubisoft catalog. Kotaku specifies that it is the Parisian studio of Ubisoft (based in Montreuil eh) which is again in charge of development, hoping this time that they do not repeat the errors of Breakpoint, both in its concept and its attempts to place NFT at all costs to force players to embark on the famous Ubisoft Quartz. It is rumored that internally, the code name for this new Ghost Recon is “OVER” and a release window would be scheduled between 2023 and 2024. Fingers crossed for an episode worthy of the name.
