Very well rated when it was released last December, Halo Infinite still suffered the plasters of players unhappy with the lack of content when it was released. It is true that Microsoft and 343 Industries had made a lot of promises, in particular the limited number of maps in multiplayer and the co-op' mode of the campaign which was subscribed to absentees. If the developers have recognized a lack of follow-up on their part, they are however working hard to satisfy the community and keep it going. Today, good news is emerging, including the fact that a beta will be deployed to allow the studio to better prepare for the launch of the Co-op Campaign which will be online later this year. Also, anyone can participate in this beta and therefore test this campaign in co-op on a larger scale and take the opportunity to give as much feedback as possible. Here's how it's going to go:
From Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 22, 2022, the Public Beta will be available to anyone who owns Halo Infinite's Campaign mode or is an active Game Pass member. To participate, console players must be part of the Xbox Insider program while those on Steam will need to be enrolled in the Halo Insider program. However, Microsoft specifies that all players will have to download and start a new part of the Campaign mode because no previous progress will be retained. At least we are warned in advance. However, a system allows to relieve this frustration since as soon as the missions are completed, they can be replayed thanks to the “Replay the Mission” functionality. On the other hand, and it is still specified in black and white: the progress of the beta will not be transferred to the final version of the game. We also take this opportunity to detail the steps for you to be part of the Xbox and Halo Insider program.

If you own Halo Infinite on Steam and want to participate in this beta, be sure to sign up for the Halo Insider Program before Tuesday, July 5. If you have not registered by this date, we cannot guarantee access to this beta via Steam, but you will still be able to access it via the console.

Log in and verify the desired email address by setting it as your preferred address in your Halo Insider profile.
