Hogwarts Legacy: January rumors were right, the game will be released in 2023
Despite all the will in the world, despite public denials, Hogwarts Legacy: The Legacy of Hogwarts will therefore not be released in 2022, as the rumors circulating last January had predicted. In a tweet, then an explanatory video from Avalanche Software, we learn that the developers need extra time to go through with their ideas. A classic message which however allows to have the firm and definitive release date (even if nothing is firm and definitive), namely February 10, 2023. Chandler Wood, the CM of Avalanche Software, specifies however that this date corresponds to all platforms, except the Nintendo Switch version which will be released much later, without further details. He also takes the opportunity to reassure players by explaining that the studio is particularly proud of the work done and that they can't wait to share the result with all lovers of the Harry Potter universe. We remind you that this will be the first open world game dedicated to the license, that the story will take place in the 1800s, long before the birth of Harry Potter and that the game will offer immense possibilities in terms of gameplay, possibilities and even universes.
