While Sony Interactive Entertainment has just marketed the remake of The Last of Us a few weeks ago, now a rumor has just arisen out of nowhere, announcing that the Japanese manufacturer is currently preparing a remaster of the first Horizon Zero Dawn. It is the MP1st site which is the first to disclose this information, attesting that it comes from a source close to the file, and which asked to remain anonymous. But very quickly, our colleagues from VGC (Video Games Chronicle) corroborated this rumor according to their own sources. Both explain that this technical update will be an opportunity for developers to add lots of accessibility options, as is the case in recent PlayStation productions. Obviously, on the technical side, we can count on a better quality display, a more advanced frame-rate and other additions that did not exist when the game was released on PS4. Some will recall that Horizon Zero Dawn had already received an update to adapt to the PS5 release, allowing to offer a 4K display and a frame-rate at 60 frames per second, which leaves us wondering about the legitimacy of this remaster. Can we see a desire to link this remaster to the coop multiplayer game that has been rumored for several months? With this desire for Sony to develop its IPs towards game-services, it is not forbidden for this PS5 remaster to be there to give a boost to this new strategy. We are waiting for Sony Interactive Entertainment to confirm or deny this nocturnal rumor.
