Hugh Jackman will return one last time as Wolverine, and it will be for Deadpool 3

It's been years that Ryan Reynolds has been lobbying his friend Hugh Jackman to return to his role as Wolverine one last time, and obviously, it paid off! In a video posted last night on his various social networks (Instagram, TikTok and Twitter), the Canadian actor announced the return of Wolverine in Deadpool 3. The video however begins in a very parodic way, with shots of Ryan Reynolds walking around in the forest, or sitting on his toilet, all accompanied by melancholic music, to explain to us that he has been looking for a long time how to approach his character of Deadpool in the MCU. But in vain. It's the blank page syndrome. No idea comes out of his head anymore, because for him, the arrival of Deadpool in the MCU must be something special. If the video suggests that Ryan Reynolds is trolling his audience, a character suddenly appears in the background. This man is none other than Hugh Jackman and he is just passing through to access the stairs leading upstairs. Ryan Reynolds then asks him this simple question: "Hey Hugh! Would you like to play Wolverine one last time?" And Hugh Jackman to add in a totally detached and almost uninterested tone: "Yeah of course Ryan". Then begins the famous song by Whitney Houston: "I will always love you", which is a play on words with the first name "Hugh" (You / Hugh) and a Ryan Reynolds who raises his eyebrows to make it clear to his public that not only did he win his case, but that in addition, it could be explosive.
