Joe & Mac: a new name, a first trailer and the T-Rex Edition revealed

We announced it to you exclusively last October, the remake of Joe & Mac is back on the eve of the start of the school year to reveal its very first trailer. A trailer in which the most nostalgic players are propelled to the stone age, in an arcade, just to be connected with the theme of the game. We remind you that it was Microids who inherited the project from of Data East and which entrusted the development of the game to Mr Nutz Studio, the creators of Asterix & Obelix Baffez les Tous, the 2D beat'em all. The opportunity to appreciate once again the pencil stroke of Philippe Dessoly who offer ultra neat 2D graphics and above all entirely handmade. Microids takes the opportunity to readjust the name of the game, which is now displayed with a "New" in front of the duo's name, so as not to disagree with an already existing game on download platforms.



If the gameplay images are scanty, we do know that this New Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja will offer an "Arcade" mode, a "Training" mode, a "Boss Rush" mode, a "Speedrun" mode and even a version long story mode with the "Extended" mode. The icing on the cake, and that's normal, it will be possible to play alone or with a friend in local coop. Microids also communicates on the T-Rex version of the game, which will offer some bonuses in the game box. As usual with Microids, there are stickers, a 3D key ring and a notice card. Nothing crazy, but at least there's no bookmark or door hanger, lol.
