Kingdom Hearts IV: surprise, Square Enix releases the 1st trailer with gameplay in it

It's clearly something that nobody expected on this early sunny Sunday afternoon, especially in Spain where all eyes and minds are riveted on the 1st round of presidential votes, but in Japan, it's is a great time to celebrate 20 years of the Kingdom Hearts series. Inevitably, Square Enix had organized an event accordingly, which took place in physics, in Tokyo in the Shibuya district. Of course, it was an opportunity to come back to the different episodes that came out, but also to announce new titles to come, like this Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link, a mobile game, the series being popular via this format. But there was a surprise at the end of this ceremony, namely the very first trailer of Kingdom Hearts IV. A surprise that fans are currently commenting on social networks, especially since this episode contrasts radically with previous opuses, with a desire to offer less cartoon graphics, in a universe that also seems to take place in real life, but which is none other than the city Quadratum.


Sora also seems to have grown physically, but his BG cut has remained the same. We first see him waking up from a sofa before a young girl by the name of Strelitzia introduces him to the city which is fairly quickly attacked by a heartless Darkside version. We then see our hero invoke his keyblade which also serves as a grappling hook to move more quickly and which is reminiscent of the gameplay of Final Fantasy XV. This is also the only moment of gameplay that we will see from the game, before the end of the trailer reveals Donald Duck and Goofy who seems to be looking for a person in a poorly lit cave. Square Enix specifies that it is a new arc, and therefore a whole new story called "Lost Master Arc" For the moment, no platform or release date has been announced, but according to recent rumors, Kingdom Hearts 4 is not coming anytime soon.
