We had been warned since the beginning of August, the fourth team in DLC for The King of Fighters XV is none other than Team Samurai Shodown, shortened to “Team Samurai”. Today, SNK has decided to lift the veil on the release date, set for October 4, and to publish the gameplay trailer for these three new characters. Haohmaru, Nakoruru and Darli Dagger are therefore the three members of this team who fight with edged weapons. We could obviously believe that they have a certain advantage, and it is not this trailer that will contradict us, as Haohamru's extension is quite violent. His punches and furies also seem unstoppable, but SNK has certainly balanced things out so they're not god-tier. We do not know how these three samurai from the past have been integrated into the modern history of KOF XV, but we are counting on SNK to find us a script pirouette worthy of their greatest writing, lol. With this new DLC, the total of playable characters in KOF XV will increase to 54 with more to come. SNK takes the opportunity to specify that music from the KOF Maximum Impact series will be added to the DJ Station, a mode that allows you to customize the background music during matches with your favorite songs. Other pieces will also be integrated in the future.
