Layers of Fear was released in 2016 and has continued to terrorize gamers ever since. The psychological horror game exploded in popularity and thrust Team Bloober into the limelight. They then released story DLC as well as a Layers of Fear sequel.
Team Bloober has announced their return to the world of Layers of Fear and will release a new project. This Poland-based game studio has made psychological horror its daily bread and is thrilled to scare fans once again. You can take a look at the Layer of Fear trailer below.

Team Bloober plans to use their extensive knowledge and experience of the horror genre along with the Unreal 5 engine to create a new masterpiece. No other information was given regarding the return to Layers of Fear other than the trailer above.
Team Bloober has however announced that they are working on two AAA projects which have not been announced. It's unclear if these games will also be horror games, but they said one project is in production while the other is in pre-production. Only time will reveal more information about these two mysterious projects and the future of Layer of Fear.
