A studio that has acquired a certain notoriety in video game horror, Bloober Team is working on several projects. A new Silent Hill according to persistent rumors, but also Layers of Fears which had been unveiled a few months earlier. Sort of the last chapter to the first two games released several years ago, this Layers of Fears (with an S in Fears to mark the difference) will allow us to embody this time the painter's wife, who still has this obsession with paint his deepest madness. The developers promise the most successful horror experience in the series, with a level of psychological freak never reached. When you see the face of the macabre environments in which you have to wander, you want to believe them. What is quite striking with this new episode is the use of the Unreal Engine 5 which offers a photo-realistic rendering and makes the levels in which we walk all the more worrying. For now, Layers of Fears is expected for sometime in 2023 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
