Apart from the announcement trailer and the gameplay video unveiled at the end of 2021, we haven't seen much of Lies of P. In any case, on paper, the game developed by Neowiz and Round8 Studio is more than appealing, for two reasons. The first is that the story revolves around the legend of Pinocchio. The famous puppet will have to go in search of its creator, Gepetto, in the particularly dark city of Krat. The second reason is that Lies of P will take the form of Soulsborne, which involves extremely demanding combat and tortuous exploration.
In the context of an interview granted to our colleagues from Gamingbolt, Neowiz gave some details on the framerate and the resolution of the game – which, we recall, will be released on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS5 and PC. On Xbox Series X and PS5, Lies of P will have two modes: "Quality" and "Performance". In "Performance", the game will run in 1440p 60fps, while in "Quality" mode, we will be entitled to 4K 30fps. Regarding the second option, the studio said it wants to ensure that the game runs in 4K 60fps. Good. Finally, with regard to the Xbox Series S, the intentions of the developers have not filtered.
We remind you that Lies of P is expected for 2023. There is no doubt that we should learn more about the game by then, in particular concerning the lie system which will naturally have an impact on the progress of the quests.
