Lies of P: Pinocchio version Dark Souls reveals ultra solid gameplay

Every time it's shown, Lies of P generates interest, and it did again during Gamescom 2022's Opening Night Live. Still expected for 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One, this dark version of Pinocchio's tale is also inspired by Dark Souls / Bloodborne for its structure and gameplay mechanics. If we can see new epic clashes with super imposing bosses, it is the atmosphere and the story of the game that are highlighted here. And for the first time, we can also see Gepetto who finds his adopted son in the town of Krat, where the baroque architecture and the barely lit alleys give the very adult tone of this revisited tale. We already knew it, but Pinocchio's mechanical arm will allow him to do a lot of things, starting with moving objects too heavy for ordinary mortals, but also protecting himself from enemy attacks. With this metal arm, it will also be possible to create new weapons thanks to combinations, while it will be possible to make it evolve over the course of the adventure. It is also the first time that we can see the face of this redesigned Pinocchio, with an androgynous look that is likely to cause conversation on social networks.

The release of Lies of P is expected for 2023 therefore, on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One.
