After surprising everyone with the announcement of Like a Dragon Ishin, the remaster of Yakuza Ishin released only in Japan in 2014, then confirmed the arrival of Yakuza 8, renamed to Like a Dragon 8, SEGA and the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio had another big surprise. It was the third game in this successful franchise, called Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Behind this extended title hides a desire to tell us about the return of Kazuma Kiryu when he was supposed to have hung up and passed the torch to Ichiban Kasuga in Yakuza 7. The idea is therefore to tell what happened to the character between Yakuza 6 and Yakuza 7, and thus prepare us for his big return in episode 8 with his graying hair. In the video that accompanies this announcement, we see that our beautiful brunette has retired to a kind of spiritual house, but his past will obviously catch up with him. While waiting to find out more, know that this Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is already announced for the year 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. It's not idle on the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio side.
