What if Little Nightmares 3 was in development? In any case, this is what a number of people have been secretly hoping for since Tarsier Studios started teasing a new game on Twitter. In reality, the chances of seeing a third episode designed by the Swedish studio land are almost nil. Indeed, after being acquired by Embracer in 2019, the structure had confided in wanting to turn the page and create new licenses. For its part, Bandai Namco Entertainment had made a point of recalling that it owned the rights to the franchise, and that if Little Nightmares 3 there were to be, it would necessarily be with the collaboration of another studio. Given the number of copies sold (more than 3 million for Little Nightmares, 1 million for Little Nightmares 2), it would be wrong to deny it.

As for Tarsier Studios, very clever whoever can guess what is hidden behind this teaser, even if we can expect a game turned towards horror given the soundscape and the few visuals that don't make you think of the Care Bears at all. Maybe the answer will come next month at one of the planned conferences - the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase or the Summer Game Fest, for example.
