As promised during the Nintendo Direct Mini, Ubisoft yesterday broadcast a showcase dedicated to Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. The opportunity for the developers of Ubisoft Milan to come back at length on this sequel which, we remind you, will allow Bowser to play in addition to the usual heroes. We remind you that in this new adventure, Mario and his gang will have to rescue the Sparks - born from the merger between Lumas and Rabbids - who have been captured by Cursa, a demonic entity determined to reign over the galaxy. Moreover, the Sparks will not hesitate to lend a hand to the protagonists on the battlefield, which will make it possible to implement even more advanced tactics.
Another point on which Davide Soliani, the creative director of the game, wanted to draw our attention: the soundtrack of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Thus, we learn that the Japanese composer Yoko Shimomura (Streets of Rage 4, Street Fighter II, Xenoblade Chronicles) was asked, as were Gareth Coker (Ori and the Will of the Wisps) and Grant Kirkhope (who worked on the music from Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle).
For the record, Mario + The Rabbids Sparks of Hope will be released on October 20 exclusively on Nintendo Switch, knowing that a Gold edition is planned. The latter will include the Season Pass as well as the Galactic Prestige pack. The Megabug pack (containing weapons in the colors of Megabug from Mario + The Rabbids Kingdom Battle), will be offered as a pre-order bonus. "Two collectible figurines in the likeness of Lapin Mario and Lapin Peach will also be available on the website of the usual local retailers", is it specified in the official press release.
