Since its announcement in September 2021, Marvel's Wolverine from Insomniac Games studios has not given much news. Not really surprising when you know that the project is only in its infancy and that the game will be released after Marvel's Spider-Man 2 scheduled for 2023. However, Mike Yosh, who is none other than the lead animator on the game , left a small tweet during the day of Thursday, April 21, accompanied by a photo where we can see the motion capture room of the Californian studio. Nothing out of the ordinary so far, except that the caption explicitly tells us that the production of Marvel's Wolverine has entered the performance and motion capture phase. "So peaceful and quiet… It won't stay like this for long." It must therefore be understood by this that all the cutscenes and the main animations of the game will be captured in the coming days, weeks and months, in order to shape this action game with a large narrative component. We also know from Brian Horton, who officiates as Creative Director on the game, that the tone will be resolutely adult; and that's clearly what players want from a title starring Logan. We want his razor-sharp blades to pierce any enemies that get in his way.
