Mega Man Battle & Fighters: NeoGeo Pocket's Mega Man fighting games are coming to Switch
Since Capcom doesn't seem to have decided to offer a Mega Man a next gen episode worthy of the name, why not dive back into the past, when the Japanese publisher's little blue robot was the king of platforming? Something you probably know less is that Mega Man also tried the adventure of Versus Fighting, at the time of the NeoGeo Pocket Color. It must be said that SNK was very attached to fighting games on its consoles (home and portable) and the idea of seeing the characters from the world of Mega Man compete in 1v1 was very interesting. To remember the good old days, Capcom has just released today Mega Man Battle & Fighters, a compilation on Nintendo Switch that brings together Mega Man: The Power Battle and Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters released in the early 2000s. Among the rosters, there are characters like Proto Man, Bass or Duo, each displaying their signature attacks. A total of 40 bosses will need to be defeated to prevent Dr. Wily from dominating the world, which will unlock data and graphics on them.
Mega Man Battle & Fighters is available here, now, for download on Nintendo Switch for $7,99.
