History will remember that it was at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase that Minecraft Legends was announced, the series' first foray into the strategy genre. Co-developed by Mojang Studios and Blackbird Interactive, the game will ask you to defend the Overworld by leading your troops. “You will discover a land both familiar and mysterious, rich with lush biomes and invaluable resources, explains the official press release. But these magnificent lands are in the grip of a terrible change: the invasion of the piglins has begun and threatens to corrupt the world. "Overworld. It's up to you to make unexpected friends, some of whom you'll recognize if you've played Minecraft, to form valuable alliances and wage strategic battles against invaders from the Nether."
The developers indicate that the game will be aimed at both fans of the license and neophytes. "If you like to play with your friends, you can enjoy the online co-op campaign or the competitive multiplayer, we will tell you more about the latter during the year", we are promised. Minecraft Legends will be released in 2023 on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC.
