Even in the middle of August, Capcom had made an appointment with the Monster Hunter community to tell us about the first big update for the Rise Sunbreak expansion. Ryozo Tsujimoto, the producer, and Yoshitake Suzuki, the game director, were even present for this fifteen-minute digital event which reviewed the new features to come from tomorrow, Wednesday August 10, 2022. First thing to remember: the arrival of 4 new monsters which are the Silver Rathalos, the Golden Rathian, the Bazelgeuse Vulcan and the Nargacuga Selenite. Creatures that we hadn't seen for almost 10 years and who come back on condition of reaching the rank of Master 10. The Nargacuga Selenite impresses, in particular because of the reflection of the light of the moon on its white fur, which makes him almost invisible, except for his piercing red eyes. Its speed and agility make it a difficult target to take down, even for the most experienced hunters. To find it, just go to the new Forbidden Tower, bounded by stone buildings and ruined columns.
The Bazelgeuse Vulcan, on the other hand, is distinguished by its incredibly volatile explosive scales which make it an aerial threat. Finally, the Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos also make an appearance in this update. These rare subspecies are even more ferocious than their original versions. Additionally, armor that can be crafted from the materials of monsters added in Version 11 will include new unique skills. But that's not all, this free update also introduces Anomaly quests, with enraged and ravaged monsters. Capcom also takes care to specify that the Weekly Event Quests will start from August 18, knowing that bonuses (often cosmetic) will be offered as rewards.
