Mystic Messenger is a mobile dating simulation game where you play as a character trapped in a room, his only mode of communication being a smartphone and a not-so-secret chat app. The goal is to get close to one of the capture targets within four days, making these the most important chat moments to know. From day five, you then play the story of the target of your choice until day 11 to get one of their endings.
There's just one problem: each character has their own set of responsibilities and free time, so you need to know when they'll be online.
Things to know about Mystic Messenger chat hours
First and foremost, you should know that just because these people go online seemingly at random doesn't mean they don't follow a pattern of how they show up.
In fact, here's a quick rundown of their schedules that will help you catch them even beyond day four:
- Yoosung is a student obsessed with games. He's usually online at dawn while he's playing or studying. He is also on the app in the morning before he goes to school, during his lunch break and in the evening.
- Jumin and Jaehee work full time for the same company. They will usually check their application in the morning or after work.
- Zen doesn't work in a nine-to-five job, so her availability is hit and miss. Still, he is a social butterfly and will be one of two people who are online most hours.
- 707 works from home. Just like Zen, it is always online. Sometimes he will even be woken up with Yoosung at dawn.

Mystic Messenger's chat times are different depending on whether you're chasing a casual story (Zen, Yoosung, and Jaehee) or a deep story (707 and Jumin). However, no matter what story you are looking for, the chat times for day one will remain the same.
