2023 will clearly be the year of Grendizer's return. While Microids is actively preparing its video game with the French studio Endroad, on the side of Go Nagai, we have not been idle either, since the creator of the most famous robot-warrior in Spain has just announced a new anime for the 'next year. Face-camera, the 76-year-old mangaka reveals to us that he has been working on this "Project G" for a few years and that he has brought together the best creators in Japan so that the comeback of UFO Robo Grendizer is made with beating drums. We don't yet know much about the project, or in what form the anime will return (solo film, series?), but more than 40 years later, we can see how much Grendizer still fascinates the crowds. Proof of this is with the monster success of the French comic strip released by Kana in 2021 and signed by Xavier Dorison, Denis Bajram, Brice Cossu, Alexis Sentenac and Yoann Guillo. To date, the comic has sold more than 228 copies, which is simply colossal for a revival of this caliber. We just have to be patient and wait for Dynamic Planning, Go Nagai's production company, to reveal more to us. In the meantime, we have some sketches that reveal a first Golgoth, and some machines with a strange character next to it. Can't wait for Microids to reveal the first gameplay images of its video game. See you in 700.
