NFS Unbound: a new trailer that explains risk-taking as a gameplay mechanic

Since its reveal 15 days ago, Need For Speed Unbound has been a controversial game. On the one hand, those who have fully embraced the artistic choice imposed by the Criterion Games studio, and on the other, those who reject this mixture of realistic graphics and cel-shaded effects. Whatever happens, the game leaves no one indifferent and that, the British studio had to know. The promotional campaign is progressing and today, we have the right to a new gameplay trailer, still just as explosive, which allows us to highlight some mechanics in the game. There will indeed be a management of the risks and rewards associated with the Alert level that rises with each race held on the streets of Lakeshore. Much like what was done in the Burnout series, players will get rewards for taking risks, such as performing spectacular drifts in the street, evading the police or betting their money on side bets against their rivals.

The release of NFS Unbound is expected for December 2, 2022 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series and confirms 4K and 60fps.
