Obi-Wan Kenobi: this is the best start ever to a series on Disney+, a point on the figures
Launched exceptionally on Friday, May 27, 2022, the first two episodes of the Obi-Wan Kenobi mini-series were eagerly awaited by the Star Wars community. This has manifested itself massively, to the point that the show has become the best start for the Disney+ platform since its creation in 2019. A score established on the number of hours streamed during the opening weekend, but unfortunately not detailed by the Disney firm which takes care not to reveal everything publicly. On social networks, and particularly Twitter, the subject "Obi-Wan" was also in trend topic very quickly just after the broadcast of the episodes. Inevitably, with a story that takes place just after the film Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Siths which ended with the confrontation between Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi (who cut off all the members of his disciple and the made the dreaded Darth Vader), there was much to be impatient about. It is recalled that the story of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series is set 10 years after the events of Episode III, that Obi-Wan is now called Ben, seeks inner peace and lives in hiding. Conversely, Anakin has only one desire: to find him to take revenge and make him suffer in turn...
Note that the third episode is available since today, Wednesday June 1, 2022, and that it has raised the level of the series by a notch. Darth Vader is here and he is clearly not happy...
Not super excited about the first two episodes of #ObiWaKenobi, the third has just raised the bar quite high. And Anakin Skywalker's hatred for his former master is no stranger to it.
And then this game of hide and seek in the dark... 🤩 pic.twitter.com/5sUL2rSItk
