Bandai Namco Entertainment is preparing the release of its Pac-Man World Re-PAC, which is none other than the remake of the original game released in 1999 on the first PlayStation. Twenty-three years later, it's on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch that nostalgic players and the new generation will be able to immerse themselves in this reworked 3D platformer from head to toe. To measure the evolution between the two versions, Bandai Namco Entertainment offers us this comparative video, which allows us to see the technical gap. Geometric 3D, fuzzy textures, aliasing, bland colors, the original game certainly pales in comparison with the 2022 restoration, but it still had a certain charm. As for the second video, it is the introductory cinematic of the game, and allows us to know more about the journey of Pac-Man in six different worlds in order to save his family by chasing Blinky, Pinky , Inky and Clyde. The release of Pac-Man World Re-PAC is expected for August 26, in a few weeks.
